Abstract
This study explores the role of Agentic Artificial Intelligence (AAI) in enabling smarter, adaptive, and human-centric manufacturing in the Industry 5.0 framework. The study has outlined a baseline framework illustrating how AAI can enhance decision-making and improve resource efficiency to foster sustainable production environments. A practical deployment strategy is outlined, highlighting how the machines are being integrated, the role of the sensors, and digital platforms for seamless communication. The paper also discusses the functions of the core architectural components that support context-aware decisions. With AAI embedded in Industry 5.0 systems, the production lines can be continuously monitored, allowing timely interventions for quality control, predictive maintenance, and process optimization. A SWOT analysis is conducted to assess the feasibility and implications of the integration, identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges of adopting AAI in Industry 5.0. The findings suggest that intelligent, autonomous systems have the potential to create more resilient, efficient, and collaborative industrial ecosystems.
